Great question! Oatmeal, sugar (not too much!), baking soda, peanut butter (again not too much!!!), and eggs are fine. According to the Pet Poison Hotline, "Pumpkin spice products are usually flavored with a mix of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice. Ingestion of very large amounts of cinnamon can potentially cause vomiting, diarrhea, lowered blood sugar, irritation of the mouth and lungs, and possibly changes in heart rate and issues with the liver. Nutmeg contains a toxin called myristicin, and toxicity can cause symptoms including hallucinations, disorientation, increased heart rate, high blood pressure, dry mouth, abdominal pain, and possibly seizures. Ingestion of large amounts of ginger can cause stomach upset and lethargy." As long as there are not large amounts of either cinnamon or pumpkin spice in the cookies, they should be fine for Princess. Remember these cookies are a treat, and only give her one every couple of days. Best of luck, I hope this helps!

My own personal preference, unrelated to Petco or PetCoach, is the CET line of enzymatic chews by Virbac ( https://us.virbac.com/home/our-products/pagecontent/product-selector/cetenzymatic-oral-hygiene-chews.html ). Any chew you decide on should, ideally, have the Veterinary Oral Health Council seal of approval. http://www.vohc.org/VOHCAcceptedProductsTable_Dogs.pdf

Without knowing how Cookie interacts with other dogs, it would be hard to say. I would recommend bringing her to a local park to see how she reacts- is she interested? Does she want to play? Or does she avoid and shy away from the other dogs? This may give you some idea as to how she may interact with a new dog in the house. If you do decide to get a new dog, I highly recommend bringing Cookie with you to the shelter or other place you are looking for one. Most shelters will allow you to introduce your current dog to any potential new family members to see if they are going to get along. As for age, it really depends more on your dog's personality and that of the new dog. An older dog that is super hyper may not work well compared to a very calm puppy, etc. As with any new pet, take introductions slow. Even if they got along outside the home, they may still have some scuffles over shared items, spaces, etc. Separating the two until both are calm, and then trying again to reintroduce

Cookie is quite the cutie! I'm sorry she's feeling a bit off. With those very general symptoms, I would recommend keeping an eye on her and taking her to the vet tomorrow if she doesn't go back to normal. If she started vomiting, has white gums, doesn't want to move around at all, or seems uncomfortable, then I would recommend taking her to an emergency clinic for evaluation. I hope she goes back to normal soon! Let me know if that was helpful information and thanks for using Boop by Petco!

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. If you are going to go outside and it is very cold out, or if you will be going for long walks or on colder surfaces (not snow but ice or cold pavement) then booties are a good idea as they can get frostbite and wounds from cold on their feet. Best of luck with Spike! Have fun with him!
