I need to add cotton to the pillow mat for my dog bed because it’s going flat, can I use any kind of cotton or should I be careful picking one out? She doesn’t chew her beds at all, it’s just going flat. Where can I get cotton for her bed?

Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/harmony-hooded-cave-cat-bed-in-grey) that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about Buddy. This is a million dollar question. I have experienced it with my dogs and I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Some dogs are just very destructive when it comes to toys, beds, and other items in the house. Maybe it's just boredom, lack of environmental enrichment, etc. I would advise more walks, more exercise, etc to see if the behavior continues. Good luck

I would crate him at night since you cannot watch him and he is so young. Once you know that you can completely trust him (potty and getting into stuff) then I would say you can let him out of the carte and sleep with you. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Bad Sam! Can you leash him to the foot of your bed so he can't wander off to other things? If that doesn't work or isn't possible I think it is fine and not cruel to crate him at night. He should be sleeping anyway and it will also keep HIM and your stuff safe. Good luck!
