We're pretty sure our male German Shepherd has a hygroma on his left elbow (We have laminate flooring). This site doesn't recommend draining it. We are enroute to purchase a dog bed now.
My 9 year Old Maltese Is Uncomfortable,Lathargic & Morning my
My pet has torn all his beds and now sleeps on a blanket or a bedsheet. I hope that won't cause any joint problems in the long run? It seems that he is comfortable sleeping this way. Is it safe?
Why does my dog chew up his beds? What would be the best bed for an aging dog?
Female pug usually sleeps in orthopedic bed w male, they have always been unseparable and sleep smooshed together in their giant bed but lately she keeps sleeping on floor in hallway on other side of living room. Both have current shots, neither exhibiting obvious signs of distress, nothing abnormal in room or on bed. What's the deal? Does she or he maybe need a vet consult to r/o illness? She does have lump to r front and nodule on R eyelid but asymptomatic for anything until this weird bx
My standard poodle pup is 9 weeks old, she doesn’t prefer sleeping on her bed and mattress, instead she’d rather sleep and nap on the hard surface floor, I was wondering if this habit is bad for her bones later on? Also, she loves to stand on her rear legs and hump her front legs on the sofa, is it bad for her bone or hip as well? First time dog owner, thanks a lot for your kind response and knowledge. Lastly, I used diluted soap to clean her mess on the floor, she sniffs n licks abit, isitsafe?
Hello. We have a 9 week male Morkie named Grits. We are trying to potty pad training and crate training. We let him out every 2 hours and let him do his business. Then we play with him for a bit, then back to the crate. Our question is, can we move the crate upstairs with us when we go to bed? The wife would really like for him to sleep in bed with us,but not until he is potty trained
Hi, my 15 year old terrier 'Doris' sleeps at the bottom of the bed. She has peed but only 7or8 times at night in that time. Twice in the last 4 months which I put down to old age & just washed the sheets. However in the last two nights (rather early morning she has again taken a leak, - I can see in the area (about I square foot) of dampness there are tiny spots of what I think is blood. smaller than a pin head and at a guess about 10. Medication she is on, Meloxecam, Frusemide, Vetmedin -mike
My Terrier has diarrhea and vomiting she destroyed her foam bed on Saturday
My dog Max is 10 years old and he is staying in a room in my house that is really cool and he doesn't seem to want to leave the room except to go to the bathroom, eat and drink or go for walks
My 9 year old Newfoundland retriever went to the beach with me yesterday and then when we got back she laid down, and was unable to stand up again. She has done this before after a beach day when it’s cold, usually some pain medicine and a heating pad will get her up again. This time she was down from about 7pm at night, until 10 am the next morning when I had to lift her so she could walk outside to relieve herself. I went to the vet at noon, they ran kidney tests. She can’t get up still
We just had Milo at vet yesterday for back issues. The vet recommends sending re X-rays to specialists to get a better idea if serious or not. What do you think.
