Hello. Petco carries a number of products that might help. Zymox makes a spray & a salve that contains hydrocortisone, that can really help with the itching. On-line, you can find many more products such as shampoos & conditioners that also contain hydrocortisone. Topicals only work for short periods of time. Longer relief can be obtained with immunostimulants such as Apoquel & Cytopoint, both available from your veterinarian. Your pet may also have additional issues such as skin mites, fleas, bacterial & yeast infections in the skin, & your veterinarian can certainly help to sort some of these issues out. You will need to check that your local Petco has a Vetco clinic branch as well, they will have a look at the vaccines she already got and will let you know which ones need to be done next. regarding food i recommend one of the following: Orijen, Acana, Evovle or Taste of the wild.
