Giardia can only be treated with either Metronidazole or Fenbendazole at the appropriate dose for your cats weight. I would consult your vet for the appropriate dosage for your cat since they have examined him before. Veterinary client patient relationship act says that a pet has to be examined by said vet who prescribed that pet medicaiton. I hope this helps. Best wishes and take care.

Love his name! That is awesome! I would recommend Revolution or Advantage Multi. I personally like Advantage Multi better. Hello. My cat has a major case of fleas. I did research and found products that could possibly help. I'm just worried that they could cause harm if used in combination with each other. Would it be safe to use Advantage II and Sentry Capguard tablets
Great question! Yes it is fine to use Advantage II and Capguard at the same time. Capguard is a one time pill that starts killing fleas in 30 minutes, but doesn't provide lasting flea protection. The Advantage II will provide monthly protection from fleas as long as you apply it once a month. Be very sure to get the correct dose for Troy's weight, as cats are exquisitely sensitive to flea medications. You will also have to disinfect the environment. Wash his bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home.

If the dose of Gabapentin is so small, why is it only available in 100mg capsules? That means I have to break open the capsule and divide it into thirds for my cat!
It is a human drug and that is the lowest capsule strength available. It is best to ask your vet to have the drug compounded into a liquid or a transdermal gel. You dividing the capsules is not ideal - you are not likely to get a correct dose. Roadrunner Pharmacy can compound it for you.
