What’s the difference in cephalexin and simplicef
Doctor can I use this Rx Cefpirome injection IP (Cefor 1g) on my dog here Creatinine 15.20 ?
our dog has been treated for Pyoderma since he was a puppy. He is now 9 months old. So he has been on Cefpodoxime since then. He still has Pyoderma. Is there a better way to be treating our puppy?
Bella was put on Cephalexin 500 mg 3 times a day until gone. She was also put on Temaril-P tablets 1 1/2 tablets twice a day until gone. She was also given a spray for the hot spot which is Betagen Topical spray 120mL twice a day until healed.
Rumple was on Cephalexin 750mg twice a day for a total of 17 days (with a three day break after 7 days) he finished them November 1st 2018. For the last 7 days he was also on Fortiflora Canine PVD. Since being on the antibiotics his poos have continued to be abnormal, although, some times they seem to be getting closer to normal colour and consistency but then they go back to being partly clay-like texture on one end and degreasing to more difficult to pick up near the finish. Is meropenem an effective therapy to dog?
my cat has pus in the ear, i took him to a vet and he told me to give him an antibiotic injection " cefaxone' once a day for 4 days the start another antibiotic 'xiamcef' twice a day for 5 days with 3 different ear drops (otal - viotic - dexatrol), would this have any side effects on him?
If my dog is 65lbs and was prescribed CEPHALEXIN 500 MG twice a day is this normal? It seems like a lot of mediciation for a skin infection. What is the proper dosage for a 65lb dog on this medicine?
Hi- my dog has been on Cefpodoxime since Sunday night and I noticed that he smells different - just his general scent and even his stool. Is this a normal side effect? He is on the medicine as a preventative since he had to have a portion of his dew claw removed. Thank you
