What are these little bugs? I found them on a chair in my kitchen. I haven’t seen anything on my cats.
I have two cats, we use to keep their litter box in the kitchen but that was way to unsanitary, so my mom's idea was to put it in the basement, but of course their scared to go to the basement and now just do their business on the carpet, and now she furious at them but refuse to listen to me when I try to tell her that their to scared to go in the basement since no one go down there, I can really use some help cuz now she just want to kick them out.
My house didn’t come with ceiling fans. And with this hot summer weather I invested in one for my kitchen. I installed it and was turning it on and off to see how it works and both my cats were fine with it they were their normal selves. I had it off for a few hours and when I turned it on, my girl was underneath the fan and she got afraid and ran away. Now she won’t go in the kitchen. Which is where her food is and she has to pass through to get to her litter. What to do to help her??
So for the past few months my cat wanted to be alone in the kitchen she all the sudden wants to come out and be the center of attention could this mean she was sick but is now feeling better?
Today I succeeded to rescue two stray unwanted female cats(no animal rescue here),I found their story, they were thrown out in the winter, the first one thrown past year and grew up as fully wild cat in the field and bushes, showing only morning to grab the dry bread which one man threw to her,the other is thrown recently and still very confused, I keep them for now in enclosure that I have for my cats in the backyard, but the wild one tries to escape and the other doesn't want to eat,any advice?
Hi is rehydration the sole purpose of sub Q fluid for cats with CKD and is reserved for cats that wont drink? Can't cats get water via oral syringe instead? Or from added water in food? I have never seen my cat drink out of the water bowl because I add plenty of water in the food; however he does urinate a lot-- 5 times a day. Would extra liquid intake in cats help with kidney disease or would it post any health problems?
I literally just learned that my cat likes her water in a glass bowl, away and from her food, with 7 to 10 ice cubes in it. I also learned that it's the same temperature as the water in the toilet from which she used to drink. My question is, why are cats so picky and could this give cats brain freeze or cats just like colder water?
What are the best ways to reduce the risk of urinary issues in cats?
So I have a thought that one of my two cats may be "marking" urinating in our house due to the neighbors two "outside"cats hanging around our house
I have 3 cats. 2 are 15 yes old. The other is 7 yr old. My older cats are peeing behind the couch. I have used Miracle products, scrubbed and put soda down then use brush to work soda in. Even with this method they still go behind the coach. I clean their litter boxes 2 times s day. How can I keep my older cats from peeing on the carpet?
Hi, I am having problems with my cats getting along. They have been together for 1.5 years and still mildly fight, the younger male cat (2) stalks the older female cat (4) and it cause her a lot of stress. She growls when he gets too close and hides in the kitchen cupboard. But then there are time where they will both sleep next to each other on the bed and both lay on my lap touching each other. I have a feliway diffuser, several food/water bowls but I am not sure what else to do. Any advice?
[I'm reposting this question as I can't see the answer to the first post] My mum insists in putting our kitten to sleep in the kitchen at nighttime. The problem is that when we put her in and go away, she'll start crying and scratching the door, and I can't just "let her crying until she calms down". Now I can pet her until she falls asleep, but when I start school year that won't be an option anymore. What can I do so that she sleeps there at night?
