Kittens require more calories for growth. If fed alone, feed 1-2 cans per 1.5 to 2 lbs of body weight per day, or until full. Divide into 3 or more meals. As your kitten grows, continue to adjust the feeding amount to maintain ideal body shape and avoid excess weight. Your kitten should have access to clean, fresh water. Refrigerate after opening.

What wet food do you recommend for a 8 month old kitten with a sensitive stomach
What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
What kind of pet food do you recommend for a kitten
My senior cat (14) stopped eating his regular dry cat food. I did try a couple new different kinds but he just wanted wet food. Now he seems to bore of that quickly so I have switching up brands. Is there a certain brand/flavor you recomend? I went from Friskies to Iams. Now he is eating Fancy Feast. I just don't know what's best to do.
I like to make my own fresh cat food boiled chicken . Is ok to use brown rice and fish oil chicken mix d up in it ? ... can u give any more ideas to adding in my cat food? Thanx.
Can you tell me a home made recipe for my catfor daily basis and I have a question is that you are saying that chicken doesn't full fill the nutrition requirement of cat but a wild cat only eat raw meat daily what ever she hunts so feeding chicken is near to his natural environment.and cat food is very expensive I can not afford it that's why I want a chicken ,goat, fish meat Dept which I can feed him easily and on daily basis so plz tell me home made recipe.and my cat is mostly outdoor
I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!
I have few things about kitten feeding. I'm new to the kitten world and I try my best to get my kittens healthy! I have 2 kittens; "Toast" and "Smokey" Toast loves chicken and canned food but we cant really afford canned food all the time so we always give her boiled chicken breasts. She hates dry food and does not want to eat it. Smokey, eat all and I'm happy about it but, he sometimes throws up some of it and I am scared. Their food is given 4 times a day 6hrs between meals. What to do?
