Hello, and thanks for your question on Boop by Petco. It's great that you're being conscientious about this! I recommend ceramic, glass, or stainless steel bowls. They tend to be cleaner, and are safe to throw in a dishwasher cycle now and then. I'd specifically avoid plastic. Hope that helps!

You are very welcome. In dogs we don't see this issue so much with water intake. Cats are usually always problematic to get adequate water into their system. Therefore your dog can have either wet or dry based on preference of the pet and yourself. I feel that giving half dry and half wet to cats is certainly better than no wet at all. Plus I can certainly understand that this may be more a cost effective way to care for your pet. If you also implement the placement of water fountains in your home, then this has shown to encourage cats to drink more because it is considered a fresher water source. I honestly have never heard of the special bowls made just for spaniels. That is a great idea and as long as your pets drink from it, then I say mission accomplished! It is, after all, still just a water fountain. I can certainly understand not wanting to continue to use a fountain which gets a daily dip from your pets ears. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Milk can sometimes cause gastrointestinal upset so I would avoid giving her milk consistently. I prefer Royal Canin and Science diet. Any of their varieties should be good options for Browny. Best of luck!

Our puppy is 8 weeks. Like to chew everything. He’s got chew toys, different types. Are dogbones ok? Rawhide? Recommendations? Pics for ides/reference.
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Chewing is a normal but frustrating part of puppy development. I do not recommend rawhides or dogbones for puppies, as they can cause an upset tummy or large pieces can get swallowed and cause a GI obstruction. A great option for chewing puppies are ice cubes. You can mix together water and a small amount of low sodium chicken broth to give them flavoring, which are great options for chewing! Kong toys or other rubber toys are a great option, and they can be filled with peanut butter or spray cheese, then put in the freezer o allow them to last longer. Puzzle toys (such as busy buddy, etc) can also be great options. Good luck!
