My 6 lb yorkie ate 5 mg Benazepril that was intended for my bison who is 25 pounds. Will that hurt her?
I have a almost 14yr old dog who is on 5mg of benazepril and she just ate my father's dogs sentinel for 50-100lbs she is about 45ish lbs. Do i have to worry? Is there any interactions?

my dog has been diagnosed with Protein losing kidney disease. 6 years old. he's now on Benazepril 5 mg. 1.5 tablets twice daily and on NF purina kibble and wet food. HIs creatinine is 1.9, albumin 2.7, BUN 32, UPC ratio 2.6. Anything else i can do for him? i do give him a treat each day that is vegetarian and 1% protein.
Mimi has renal failure. That's her last blood report & latest prescription. The cyproheptadine & anti-nausea didn't suit her so I've taken her off these meds. We're doing simple IV with added dextrose twice a day & sub cutaneous once a day. Just got benazepril hydrochloride & ipakitine from abroad today at my vets recommendation. Wanted some suggestions on this course of treatment. Will do urine analysis & ultrasound today as her kidneys are also now swollen. Please advise.

My dog has heart failure, currently on pimobendan, frusemide and spironolactone. Recently she had cough and then sudden weakness with high shriek thrice already and I'm thinking of bringing her to vet soon. Most likely she will be started on enalapril. Will that harm her kidney? Cos her BUN was already high from her last blood test. Will enalapril cause Dry cough like what it does to humans?
