Melanie, what are some of the better or best treats on the market for dogs and why? Thank you!
Well I personally like Beggin Strips. My dogs love them, and there is no chance of a choking hazard. I never recommend rawhides due to choking and obstruction concerns. Normally I'd recommend pig ears, but I understand there is a salmonella outbreak now with pig ears. I don't do many treats because they really aren't needed.

Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. I don't know what your budget is, or what is specifically available in your area, but here are a few brand options: Natural Balance Taste of the Wild Merrick Canidae Most of these brands offer grain free treats as well. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! The Science diet sensitive skin and stomach is quite good. I really like all the Nylabone products. I find that dogs really like them and they are fairly inexpensive. They also seem to help with cleaning the teeth a bit. Have a good day!

Hi, my puppy is 3 months old and I'm worried he is not getting the nutrition that he needs because he does not like his food and always looks at me when I'm eating hoping for some of my food. what can I do about this?
Please don't give in and let him eat human foods. Once that starts he will not go back to eating dog food; human foods are not balanced for dogs nutritionally. I recommend that you not allow him to be in the same room with you while you are eating. He is not begging because he is hungry. He is begging as a way to get food from you which is a type of bonding thing for them. It is really not a good idea. I do not know what types of food you have available to choose from in your country but maybe try to switch to a different one he may like better. If you want to post again with a link to an online shop that will show us what you have available we may be able to help you more.
