81 mg is the double dose of aspirin for a dog weighing 6lbs. Please take Guido to a Pet ER now so they can make him regurgitate the aspirin before it gets completely absorbed, . Do not leave tablet lying around as he will do it again. Begging behavior is usually stopped by NEVER giving treats or food from a human hand and only feeding from the bow;. He also need to learn the word NO.

This is unfortunately a common problem - many dogs act hungry even though they are getting more than enough calories to maintain their weight. It sounds like begging during mealtime is a particular problem and I'm wondering if she has been given table scraps in the past. You could try offering her meal at the same time you are eating and using a food puzzle to keep her occupied. It is very important to never offer food from the table in order to discourage begging behavior. If you feel like she is not satiated with her current diet you could ask your veterinarian if they would recommend a prescription diet like Hill's Metabolic that is designed to help dogs feel more satiated while losing weight.

Combine the treat with a hand signal, such as pointing at the floor, and a command ("Linda, down!") Praise her if she starts to, even if she doesn't get all the way down, so she gets the idea that this is what you want. Gradually phase out the treat to every other attempt, then every third, etc. until you do away with it altogether and she drops just on your command and hand signal alone.

The best way to prevent begging behavior is to absolutely never give any foods when begging is happening! With time your puppy will realize that begging doesn't work for her. If she is very persistent and annoying you during meal times you may need to restrict her access by tethering her to a spot in the house (a bed or other space that is just hers would be best) or putting her in her crate - during these times you could give her a chew or treat puzzle to keep her occupied.

You are right, the color could be from the beggin strips. And if Penny has never had them before, this could be the cause of her vomiting. Stop giving them to her, and I will give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps!
