ASL Cat Carriers & Containment

Hello our dear vets. I wanted to ask asl something about chewie. It is hard for him to be just chained inside the house. But. For a question how can i Poopoo and Peepee Train chewie? He was free inside the house and as he started pooping and peeing. Do you guys have any tip for chewie to behave and not chew things. Or poo in the house?

My 6 months old Birman cat had a blood test that showed that her liver function isn't good, some enzymes were too high (ASL I think). Vet accused me of feeding her bad food (Royal Canin) and said to feed her Hill's liver diet. Btw Royal Canin and Hill's are really about the same quality after my research. She just gets paid most likely to sell Hill's. Anyway my question is what can cause that liver problem? And how to improve her liver functions?

Hi. I’m wondering if I should take my dog to the emergency or observe him further. He pooped normal earlier today, then a few hours ago his stomach was churning and making noise. Then about an hour ago he had diarrhea with blood. I will attach a photo. What could it possibly be? What should I do?

When I play with my cat, he starts breathing heavy and he's pushing air out pretty hard. It's not hard to spot. Even when he breathes like that, he still wants to keep going with his play session. His mouth isn't open and I don't see any other signs showing that he is having a hard time breathing in. He has A LOT of energy so I can understand why he doesn't want to stop. His regular breathing is fine but after playing with him, should I be concerned?

6yr old daschund, he isn't eating or drinking. He shakes a bit can't get comfortable, and acts like he needs to poop.

After a walk in the woods I’ve found two ticks, one in the couch next to my dog and one of the carpet. He takes Revolution which I believe does not protect against deer ticks(?). What can I do to repel any ticks on him I can’t see. I brushed him and looked for ticks for half an hour but he has thick curly poodle hair and I’m afraid I can’t find them if they are there.

My dog's biting/"teething" is getting out of control. He's constantly going after hands, feet, legs - just about anything he can find. It happens at random times of the day, especially when he wakes up to eat breakfast. I would be okay if this was play biting, but he's tearing skin and ripping clothes when he does this. We've never hit him with our hands or touched him with our feet. Should we contact a behavior specialist or will dog classes help?

My cat has lost a lot of weight and is hungry all the time. She throws up hair balls that come out with a dark brown liquid.

My dog was diagnosed with MCT in February on his back left leg. Grade 2, high grade MI 12 and dirty margins with it invading his blood vessels/lymph. Vet gave him 4-6months to live. He’s been fine until recently that leg has swollen tremendously and it seems as the days go by the swelling is going up his body to under his stomach on the left side and it feels to be fluid fill. is this from the cancer as he has no other medical issues ? Is this apart of what the cancer does? He’s on Benadryl.
