I have a 3 pound yorkie I need to give amoxidrop to and I only have a up to 3ml dropper. Can you help with dosage please
Unfortunately we cannot prescribe dosages for your pet unless we have physically examined him. The best advice here is to simply call your pets veterinarian for a dosage. Your pets vet has examined Elvis and therefore would be able to share this information with you, if it is the right course of treatment for him. My vast has another uti and I have amoxidrops 250mg/5ml but I can't read what the dosage anymore and my syringe is in ml. Can you help me to give him the right dose please?
I suggest you call your veterinarian who has supplied the amoxidrops, and tell him you do not remember the dosage. He may have adjusted the dosage specifically for your cat and has a record of it in the files. I am sure the tech on the phone can look it up and tell you. I am afraid we are not allowed to give dosages unless we have a patient owner/pet/veterinary relationship and have seen your animal in person.

I was given amoxicillin to give to my puppy of two months . He keeps spitting them out! Is there any other way to give them to him? Am I able to smash them up as a powder?
If they are tablets, you can crush them and mix into a tiny bit of puppy food. You can also contact your veterinarian and ask for Amoxi-drops. This is the liquid form of the antibiotic and may be easier to administer.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Amoxicillin is a twice a day antibiotic; without knowing the concentration of the liquid, I cannot comment on the dosage, however. If you are concerned, I would check in with her veterinarian in the morning. I hope she recovers well!

Without a legal relationship, which in most states means that a physical examination has been performed on the pet, we cannot recommend specific drugs and dosages. I would recommend calling the vet who performed the surgery back and requesting guidance. I would also comment that amoxicillin is not a very good choice for post-op treatment of pyometra, and Gina needs something more broad-spectrum such as Clavamox or Baytril for at least 14 days.
