If they are tablets, you can crush them and mix into a tiny bit of puppy food. You can also contact your veterinarian and ask for Amoxi-drops. This is the liquid form of the antibiotic and may be easier to administer.

I suggest you call your veterinarian who has supplied the amoxidrops, and tell him you do not remember the dosage. He may have adjusted the dosage specifically for your cat and has a record of it in the files. I am sure the tech on the phone can look it up and tell you. I am afraid we are not allowed to give dosages unless we have a patient owner/pet/veterinary relationship and have seen your animal in person.

Unfortunately we cannot prescribe dosages for your pet unless we have physically examined him. The best advice here is to simply call your pets veterinarian for a dosage. Your pets vet has examined Elvis and therefore would be able to share this information with you, if it is the right course of treatment for him. I wish you all the best moving forward and hope that Elvis feels better from whaterver illness he has. Take care.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Daisy. That medication is typically administered by mouth. I am not aware for a formulation of that particular medication that is made to go in the ear. I would double check with her veterinarian on Monday, but in the meantime do not apply it to the ear. I hope this information helps!

The recommended oral dosage of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid per kg of body weight is 6.25 mg twice daily. That translates to 185 mg per dose, the volume will depend on the milligrams per milliliter concentration. If your Clavamox is 50 mg/ml that is 3.7ml per dose.
