This is NOT standard "human" spring water. CATWATER is the ONLY mineral-free & pH optimized water for cats. The #1 reason for vet visits for cats is feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD), so CATWATER was created to promote urinary health in cats and prevent issues before they start. CATWATER is mineral-, chlorine- & toxin-free.

Took my 1 yr old male cat Bailey to vet for not seeing him pee that much. She inserted him and got some urine (said he had a little crust down there, not sure what she meant but he does sit on litter). Sample showed no crystals or blood but his ph level was 8, which she said could have been from eating 2 hours prior. I know ph should be at least a 6, how can i help get it to that? I did buy some bladder support powder from Mercola pets and i put a small ice cube in his food. Thank you.
How much unflavored pedialyte would you give a 6lb senior cat to help prevent dehydration from diarrhea due transitioning to a new food? Can it be given directly with a feeding syringe or should it be diluted in water and if so how much dilution? Thank you.
I have an older cat 15 years old female and drinking less than normal water that I change daily and constipated and have switched to dry food with no grains and one small can of wet per day. Looking for constipation solution when more water not an option.
Rosie is a 4 1/2 year old healthy cat who now won’t drink water. 3 weeks ago yearly vet visit she’s great! Now she’s lost ~ 1/2 pound. Acts fine, no evidence of disease or illness except minor dehydration. SubQ fluid, Covenia, DEXA given by vet yesterday as she’s had UTI in past. Have cat water fountain she loves - no interest now. Eats dry urinary + calm Royal Canin and 1 spoon pumpkin per day. Will not eat moist. Yesterday and today she licked liquid of small can of food. WORRIED!
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
A fellow pet owner suggested Vetoquinol Methigel for my cat who had a history of bladder stones (a calcium stone) 8-10 years ago. Does this work effectively to balance the urinary pH?
Hey guys! My poor cat (9 year old American shorthair) recently was adopted from another family, just before I moved. So, she's moved three times in the last few months. She is very stressed, and since the most recent move, she hasn't been drinking water from her bowl. I have tried 3 different "kinds" of water and she's not interested. I've been feeding her 100% wet food, and she seems otherwise fine and happy (minus stress), but I'm wondering if I should worry. It's been 5 days since the move.
My cat currently had blood work/testing for a check up before neutering. I was told he has crystals in his urine, and high pH levels in his urine also. Is there a diet, or specific foods I can feed him to lower the pH levels (his pee smells so strong, it's yucky)? What will help to stop the crystals from forming? Maybe some vitamin supplements? I'll try anything. Thank you!
Hello! My cat is having diarrhea probably due to him eating rossitary chicken that was left on the counter. The diarrhea is extremely watery with no signs of any solids and he continues to use the litter box constantly throughout the night. Another concern of mine that my cat isn’t really a big fan of drinking water as he ends up toppling it down (still I leave out a fresh bowl when he does) I’m trying to avoid getting him dehydrated but he just won’t drink the water, only play with it.
My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes. Can you suggest the best Wet high protein food and anything else from Petco?
My 8 y/o male cat had his first bout of cystitis a few weeks ago, my vets only solution was to give Rx food (Hills, Royal Canin or ProPlan) these all have fish products in them (even non fish flavors) and my cat is allergic. They have no other suggestions and said he will have another issue if he's not on that food. I've read about Wysong Uretic wet food, Wysong Biotic ph- supplement, Cystease, Tinkle Tonic, etc - would anything else work as an alternative? PLEASE HELP!
Are there any cat food toppers that I can use to get my cat to eat more, she stopped eating all dry food now she only eats wet food and she loves to lick off my coconut oil from my hand. Also, she doesn't drink her water unless it's moved in or near my bedroom so should I have more than one water bowl or leave the only one near me?
