I saw many breeders using sawdust or wood mulch for whelping box bedding is it good?
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
Thanks for you're help before, I have one last question. From they're pictures how far into the pregnancy does she look. She started very skinny. Also, I prepared a box with a towel and pillow so she can. Feel comfortable giving birth there. She has been there a lot lately, do you think its nesting or just resting
I know my dog is definitely pregnant. What do I need to do now to prepare for puppies she is about 30 days in
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
When i start moving the puppis out of the box they are always crying to go out so i put them out for couple of minutes then i get them back in it they are 27 days old.
My 1 year old dog had puppies on March 24 and it's supposed to get down to 30°F tonight I was wondering if I need to bring the puppies inside I made sure their dog house was warm.
My labrodor is 35days pregnant. This is her first experience... Its a three year old dog... What all nutritions and what special care(foods, medicines etc) should be taken so as to get healthy pups and to keep my pet healthy while littering.
Good day I'm asking if the puppies are safe in their stool under the cage and they still have the water I need to move to the ground?
I have trained my dog use a liter box when we are not outside the thing is if I take her out of her enclosure she will poop anywhere she wants on the fooor even thoe the box is their the enclosure is big enough for her bed a some space for her to play and then have her litter box she will poop in the box but if she is out she won’t go in the box and will poop anywhere and also if I make her space bigger as in her enclosure if I make it big enough for her to run wont use the box what can I do
Our Chihuahua is pregnant. Her back titties are very large and full of milk. She is sucking the milk. The puppies are not moving like they did a wk ago. Her old owner said that she has a small birth canal. What do we do?
