My 11 chihuahua has cushings and is under a holistic vet. Treatment is going well and now has only few symptoms except she has almost lost the ability to walk, no strength in all 4 legs. Is there a natural medication you can suggest to give her back the ability to go for small walks again. She walks around the house, but on uneven ground will fall over. She has no pain in her legs or anywhere else . Looking forward to hearing from you, Trudi.
Hello my 11 year old cane corso cross dog has chf and is currently on medication his breathing has now started to get shorter and more shallow I've done my own research on his condition and have found a natural herb remedy that helps reverse chf and rids of the fluid build up its called prmalix heart hardy can my dog have this instead of or as well as his medication I have enclosed 2 photos 1 of his medication and the 2nd of the herbal treatment many thanks adam
Chloe has her share of health issues and so she isn’t eating consistently. She is shedding a LOT more than normal and in places she has never shedded before (tail, feet). Our vet believes it’s from a mineral deficiency from her inconsistent diet. She recommended any children’s vitamin, but most of the ones I can find are gummies or full of sugar. Any recommendations? She has Cushings, arthritis, off and on pancreatitis, and is in renal failure.
11.5 yr-old izzy was recently diagnosed with cushing's (most probably pituitary origin). his only symptoms are mild hair loss and fairly marked polydipsia/polyuria. he has some elevated liver enzymes but they've actually been improving without treatment. my vet wants to start him on medication (vetoryl) but i'm hesitant because neither he nor i am bothered by his drinking and peeing a lot, the medication is expensive, has side effects, and has to be monitored closely (he HATES going to the vet).
Hello, Is this joint supplement good for my cat, sweetie to try with a little salomn oil? The Chondroitin in it is made of shark cartilage. I sadly can not use cosequin on her because sweetie is sensitive to chrondroitin made of porcine or beef cartilage which is why I am considering this one. I also have a 5 year old male should I give it him to prevent joint issues already? The product is Wholistic Pet Organics Run Free: Joint Health Supplement - Natural Hip and Joint Supplement
Our dogs has been diagnosed with cushions disease. She is 6.5 lbs, our vet wants to start her on 3 mg of trilostane twice daily. From the research I have seen this seems like a lot. What do you think?
I'm desperate to find a high quality dog food (wet) that would be good for my 8 year old Dachshund who has Cushing's Disease, an enlarged liver, gastric ulcer and is overweight. I love her so much but this Cushing's disease really took me for a loop and it's like everything I feed her makes her stomach hurt and she sits in the corner and cries and cries. I don't know what to do. Please help.
What would be the max dose of T-Relief/Traumeel for a 39 pound dog?
My 8 pound Chihuahua has presented all symptoms of Cushing syndrome (potbelly, weight gain, excessive thirst, hunger and peeing, panting, and now very weak legs) and I was considering buying Trilostane. But I don't know if I should give her the 3mg or 10mg dosage every morning like the treatment is prescribed. I'm also scared it might harm her somehow because I have never consulted a vet before. Can the medication do any harm somehow? Should I give her 10mg or 3mg?
My pet has cushin's disease but she has a cough like episode when she plays or is picked up. Is there anything that I can do to stop this coughing. The coughing lasts for no more than 5 secs each time. She is a pure bred English cocker spaniel, who is 13 years old.
Is there an over the counter supplement I can give my cat for interstitial cystitis? She's 8. Good appetite and very loving.
I am taking my cat to the vet for CKD testing. He has a high level for creatinine from the full blood panel. Are there any holistic supplements for kidney health?
