Support your adult cat's bladder and urinary tract health with Royal Canin(R) Feline Urinary SO Loaf in Sauce Wet Cat Food. This veterinary-exclusive cat food wet formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. By helping to increase the amount of cat urine your feline produces, this cat wet food diet helps with the dilution of excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in your cat's urine, which contributes to stone formation. Mix with your cat's complementary Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food to give them a texture that pleases even the finickiest eater. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this Royal Canin urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. Promote your cat's wellness with each serving of Royal Canin Urinary SO cat food formula.

One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
My 8 y/o male cat had his first bout of cystitis a few weeks ago, my vets only solution was to give Rx food (Hills, Royal Canin or ProPlan) these all have fish products in them (even non fish flavors) and my cat is allergic. They have no other suggestions and said he will have another issue if he's not on that food. I've read about Wysong Uretic wet food, Wysong Biotic ph- supplement, Cystease, Tinkle Tonic, etc - would anything else work as an alternative? PLEASE HELP!
Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.
Is Royal Canin Urinary SO wet and dry cat food the best option for treating a cat with crystals? I’ve heard some bad things about it and some good. My cat doesn’t really like it but the vet suggested he eat THIS brand only.. which happens to be the most expensive
I wanted my male cat to loose weight I changed his diet to Iam's weight controll he was in February 11.8 lbs later 11 lbs later again 9.8 lbs today he is 8.2 he is not interested in canned dry treats he drinks regularly
I have two cats, one of my cats has been prescribed Royal Canin Urinary S/O by vets to treat struvite crystals however he hates the wet food he won't eat it what so ever, will buying the dried food of Royal Canin S/O be safe to use for him? Also will my other cat be allowed to eat this also?
My 15 year old cat has stage 2 kidney disease. She shows no changes in her personality or daily habits. She will not eat any of the renal wet prescription diet food that our vet has suggested. What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. She is a fussy eater.
Noticed 12 yr. F. Lab Retriever having trouble releasing urine. Visit to vet for vaccine, felt dogs tummy and suggested ultra sound. Suggested immediate surgery because many stones seen. After surgery said most stones ever seen. I saw them, 15 lbs of stones. Says needs to be on Royal Canine Urinary SO dog food for life. She is not tolerating more than 1/2 her food being this food. Am mixing with her old food Blue Buffalo Senior. Now suggesting other Brand. Need special food for life?
Hi! Tony has been eating wet/canned royal canin aging 12+ , he’s 18 years old , and I wanted an opinion on this food as far as senior diets go. My vet had me try rx veterinary hills g/d canned food but he didn’t like it. is the aging 12+ a good senior diet option for a food lower in phosphorus and sodium? Thx!
I have an older cat 15 years old female and drinking less than normal water that I change daily and constipated and have switched to dry food with no grains and one small can of wet per day. Looking for constipation solution when more water not an option.
I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I want to make sure I'm feeding them the best and most cost efficient way. What would you recommend feeding them, and how, and how much? Do their weights (attached photo) seem healthy?
What makes urinary formulated cat wet food work so much more than regular grain free wet food?
