Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
DRY FOOD RECOMMENDATION for 2 health Issues: Raised skin-scab bumps and past history with crystals in urine; Royal Canin, Hills or Purina? Presently I am using a Grain Free, Holistic Limited Ingredient dog food.
Hello! My cat may have a food allergy which has made her lick and bite her skin resulting is big patches of hair loss. I've gone through the different foods she's been on and found that chicken by-product meal, animal fat, pork fat, and liver flavour are all used in the food, which I believe can be the culprit. What good quality food do you recommend without these, and that won't break the bank?
My cat have dry skin what do ?
The best cat food for skin allergies due to fleas and dust.
Longcoat chi. Excessive Itching, licking especialy after eating (for 60 minutes), hair loss patches on chest, face, ears limbs, butt. Ears & feet look slightly greasy. Have tried limited ingredient chicken, Pork, lamb, turkey. Natures variety and Fromms (worse on Fromms) suggestions on dry food? Live in CA, so can't order kangaroo here. Better quality kibble only. Thank you so much.
My cat is almost 2 years old. I believe she has dry skin. Her fur seems dry and dull. Occasionally she scratches herself and seems to chew on her skin. I also noticed a few white flakes on her back close to her tail. She’s on a special dry food because of her GI condition. However she has a good appetite and her weight is normal. So I wonder if it’s her food. Would a supplement be helpful? Thanks.
My 3 month old Persian kitten has a quarter to fifty cent piece size of dry scaling skin. What can I do for her.
Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
My 14 yr old cat is having itchy skin on back. I changed food 3 was ago. He is on dry food, grain free and gluten free, indoor cat food now. Could it be something other than food?
