Is bacon treat good for dogs?
If your dog is on a raw diet and you want to buy dog treats form a pet store or grocery store . what should the fat Maxim be in dog treats For a gaint breed
Dear Experts, We are from The Hockaday School and are working to make an original dog food with only natural ingredients. We were wondering if our idea is successful and original. We would appreciate it if you looked at our recipe and could help us alter or work on it. Recipe: • Pork = 40 grams • Chicken = 40 grams • Salmon = 40 grams • Peanuts = 10 grams • Sunflower seeds = 10 grams • Basil = 10 grams • Rosemary = 10 grams • Oregano = 10 grams • Sweet potatoes = 20 grams • Carrots = 20 grams
My dogs diet is 80% from a complete and balanced food and about 20% from treats chews and supplements (fish oil, joint pill) is this ok/balanced? Should I be giving her a daily multivitamin? She only gets one 30 calorie cookie per day and 1 pigs ear or 6" bully stick per week. Please explain. Thanks!
Is it ok that 16% of the diet be treats, chews and supplements? I cut out the coconut oil, and multivitamin. I however think the rest is still beneficial to her. the treats are 8% of her diet, the bully sticks are 4% of her diet and the supplements are 4% of her diet. Is this ok? Thanks!
My dogs got an unopened bag of bacon bits 20 oz. They ate it all. 1 is a great Dane 125lb the other is a boxer mix 75lb. What should I do?
Is it ok that 15% of my dogs diet is supplements, treats and chews? I give 1/4 tsp of oil per day, a joint pill, probiotics and one bully stick per week. I also started giving my dog two biscuits per day. They are 12 calories each. I counted everything and she's getting about 310-324 calories per day. This is within the range she has been getting for a while. I also stared weighing her food and she lost about .5 pound which is nice. is this ok? I just swapped out the carrots for The biscuits.
I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)
My dog ate almost an entire container of Flex 2500 Soft Chews (he ate at least 60, maybe more). He has vomited twice. Should we seek emergency attention? Attached is a photo of the ingredients. He is a 60 lbs cocker spaniel/Rottweiler mix. Thank you.
