I really recommend this food for your picky fur babies.My puppy has had no problems with this food he loves it so much and the ingredients in this food are exactly what I was looking for and I love that there is a grain free option.

Finally found a food that my picky Chihuahua will eat! He doesn't just eat it, he devours it. I'm now observing how he acts and looks while eating this kibble. Fingers are crossed!

The kibbles were small enough for her to chew even with no teeth and she loved the flavor! She wasn't typically excited to eat, but she was with this one!

I really LOVE that this food is legume/pulse-free & potato-free, and has heart-healthful whole-grains (barley, oats, & brown rice), so I feel good feeding this recipe to protect my pets from DCM heart disease, given the possible link between DCM & grain-free diets with plant protein from legumes/potatoes. I also LOVE that this recipe is especially formulated for toy breeds (which have higher metabolisms & different needs than bigger, 25-pound small breed dogs). The very small kibble is perfectly sized for their tiny mouths, & chewing them helps keeps their teeth clean (great for toy breeds, which often have more dental problems than other breeds, with plaque & gingivitis leading to tooth loss). My dogs adore this truly wonderful recipe. The major con is that the Toy Breed recipe is currently only available in a 4# bag size - I wish a larger (8#) bag size was available, since larger bags are less packaging per unit food volume (more earth-friendly) & also more economical. The 4# bag is nice for first trying the food, & for traveling, but it is just too small a bag size for continued long-term feeding (especially for households with multiple toy breed dogs). Nutro: PLEASE, PLEASE make the Toy Breed Nutro Ultra also available in the 8# bag size!

I have a little Yorkie who was so hard to feed until I started Nutro Max. She's battling Lukemia too and on a chemo drug so I can't let her miss a meal. Hard to find toy breed food. The bites are small so it's easier for her to eat.

My boys seem to like it, not much I can say about this since I have never tasted this. They can be very picky, it's good to know at least they like this kibble
