The Marble Lyretail Mollies are a beautiful, easy to care for, vibrant and hardy option for the beginner hobbyist. Males have a pointed anal fin with a larger dorsal fin while female have a rounded anal fin. They prefer harder, alkaline water conditions over acidic and soft water. They can adapt to a variety of salt levels if they are properly acclimated. They are peaceful fish that will do great in community tanks. Be aware that these are livebearers so when adding females and males that you can end up with more than when you started. They are omnivores and will eat just about anything you offer including flakes, pellets and frozen foods.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

I think my Lyretail Dalmatian molly has the swimmers bladder issue. I have videos that i could send or I can take pictures later. She stays near the top of the tank and seems to have trouble using her rear fin.
I just bought a marble molly and a silver molly, both are swimming weird. They're swimming with their bodies up towards the top of the water. I have had my water check and its perfect and there are no other fish in the tank. Are they ok? My tank is also a 10 gallon.
Hello!! I have a 14g tank with a few mollies and danios in there, but something has been bothering me lately. One of my new mollies (male) has a white dot on the tip of his tail and I’m afraid that it’s some kind of disease. What should I do? Thank you for your help!!
Two of our freshwater fish are acting oddly in the water. We did lose a few last night, due to an ammonia spike. We noticed some pale-colored, wormlike flesh dropping from the front area (between the mouth and front fins); this black Guppy is “wobbling” around... We also have an orange Molly fish that has been staying on the bottom, not eating or moving much. Attached are pics, for your review. Can you please provide advice for these issues, we want to try our best to save them!

I want to know if this is a gold fish or gold colored molly? I thought it was a molly until i saw the egg-like substance today morning. Is the third pic an egg or something else (one of my black molly gave birth to 25 live ones today...so, i want to know if it is a part of the fluid while giving birth or an real egg of the orange fish?)
