The top part was visibly not lined up correctly so it did not fit flush when we attached it to the bottom part. Then it did not fit and is very loose. The lock mechanism also could not be attached to our existing sliding door, so we had to come up with a work around. So now there is a draft around all 4 sides of the thing and the house is freezing, but also it keeps opening and closing on its own for no reason so now my dog is too scared to even use it. And their troubleshooting ideas are as if everyone is a electrician/handy man. For close to $700 you should not have to deal with parts that are not universal and it should state that before buying.

I bought this and it does not work. The battery charger didn't work to charge the very expensive batteries I ordered and the door does not open. All the troubleshooting guides say the main circuit board needs to be replaced. Total piece of junk! Don't waste your money!

Pet door worked fine slow closing time and the large is way to big for our sliding glass door you can't even get out of your door after putting the dog door in
