NO DONT BUY TERRIBLE no no no no no no no it leaked EVERYWHERE

Don't get me wrong, this product looks awesome, but it's probably the worst hamster water bottle EVER! here's why: 1. it simply doesn't work! if you have a dwarf hamster, it won't be able to reach it, and if you have a medium or large-sized hamster, it gets them wet every time they walk through. 2. it will ALWAYS leak. 3. you will have to block it off every time you change the water. 4. your hamsters will undoubtedly urinate in it. (Huge mess) 5. it's WAY to heavy for the cage, and those cheap rubber tube-connectors aren't gonna cut it. ...but alas. it's the only one that will work with the ovo habitat. ) :

Pros: Love the product. I think plastic is very easy to clean, compared to the jail-like bar cages. Looks like a science experiment. The water bottle is easy to detach from & attach back to cage. Cons: The plastic cracks easily. The cage cracked when I was putting it together when we first got it OR it was already cracked when we bought it- since I purchased the cage already put together. The water bottle became difficult to remove the cap off. I took it off initially to rinse & fill with water. Again to re-fill with water, but the 3rd time I could not get the silver cap off!!! I even tried using my jar opener (a jar gripper made of rubber) which still didn't work- surprisingly. I ended up cracking the bottle because of this issue. My theory- the 2nd time I went to fill the water bottle I believe I used warm/hot water... Which warped the bottle... Thus when I put the cap back on, all the cool water warped the two pieces together snug. Too snug.

LOVE this water bottle so much that we have several in our "Gerbil City". They don't leak like others we've had in the past. The ONLY downside is if you happen to drop it, it will most likely crack/burst. Otherwise I would say it is pretty much perfect!

The bottle is a little awkward for certain hamsters to use but that problem can be fixed if you turn the bottle at an angle. It doesn't drip if you do the vacuum seal right. I prefer this bottle for smaller hamsters, mice and gerbils.

I didn't feel my hamsters were getting enough water with this. They also started using the area as a bathroom so now it leaks and stinks and I have to keep something under it to catch the urine and also have to clean it frequently. I bought a regular water bottle with a straight tube and ball and the hamsters seem happier with the amount of water they get. The bottle fits the opening fairly well. Unfortunately, because of the type of cage it is, there's no where else to connect a water bottle.

awful. this water bottle dripped all over the betting and soaked my hamster. dont buy this.

ths water bottle is awsome.i love the shape becuase its different,i love how its like a out post type so if it drips its not all over the bedding.my hamster lovs this water bottle too,i can tell becuase he puts his treats and food in the tube underneath. this also holds alot of water so i find i have to fill it up less.and it doesnt drip that much!!!!i highly suggest you get ths bottle!:)
