Place a few drops of lubricating oil on the teeth of the blade before trimming to help maintain the blade and keep it cool. When trimming around the eyes, move the trimmer in a downward motion between the eyes and come from behind so that you do not startle your pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this trimmer for my dog! We live in Phoenix az where it gets so hot and being able to use this trimmer on my dog helps keep her groomed and cool. Easy to use and easy to clean! Quiet and decent battery life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog did not enjoy this product at all. I would say it did work okay, however it was very hard to use on my pet. I think for a more relaxed dog, it would be a better product for them.

As far as versatility let’s just say it was supposed to be for our dog but my foreign mom thinking they’re normal clippers ended up using it on her va-j-j and swears by it 😂

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately for me, a micro pet trimmer doesn’t do a whole lot of good on a wooly malamute- which I have two of. We definitely need a lot of grooming help around here, but at 75 and 105lb - micro won’t cut it. I’ll be donating these to our local shelter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a long hair cat that it was used it for. It worked well. The only thing I can say negative about it does have to be clump free in order for it to go through the hair to cut it. We used a scissors and then used that afterwards. It does do its job. Would recommend it to a friend.

How’d our this work on matted hair on cats back

Not well! I bought this specifically for a matted cat and the Conair couldn't handle getting through it. The batteries didn't last long enough, there wasn't enough power and the teeth on the shaver were just a tad too shallow
