It Really Is the Perfect Fit!

This gate is perfect for our home with a new puppy. Big enough and long enough to shape into several forms. We use it long ways when he can have more access around the kitchen and then close it off into a play pen for him when we can't keep an eye on him. It is very sturdy and well constructed.

The gates look good and are solid especially since I have a chewer. They have also held up when he jumps in it. I received my puppy at 9 weeks old (11lbs)and now is 14 weeks old(19lbs). We love them so far and hopefully our puppy will understand by the time he is a little older and can tower over the gates - he won’t!!!!

This gate is great in so many ways! I love how easy it is to move around and configure. It covers a huge area and you can make a pen out of it as well. Perfect for what I needed.

What is the height of this fence?
- Approx 3 ft. Maybe a little higher. Perfect height.

Can this be attached to a wall for more sturdiness? Planning to use it as a barrier on our patio which I am also measuring as exactly 12 feet
- The Perfect Fit Pet Gate is a Freestanding Gate. It does not come with any brackets or latches to attach to a wall.

I’m closing off half my deck which 12’ wide and it’s exposed to weather. I need something that can take alittle weather and has a gate also can fold up out of the way when not in use.. thank you
- It folds easily like an accordion curtain. It’s wood (like a kitchen table or chair) so I’m Sure about exposure to water. Good luck!

Can the dog door be patched up and remain open
- Yes, the small pet door on the Perfect Fit Pet Gate has a spring lock that locks it into place in both open and closed position.

I need a dog gate with "locking" corners so that it will maintain a square shape. Do these corners lock? If not, do you have one? I need a rectangle pen shape.
- The corners on the Perfect Fit Pet Gate do lock. Each joint has two twist locks to secure the angle.

- No the section cannot be separated.

Can this be pushed over by 40lb dog if used as a gate instead of pen?
- Probably depends on how bad your 40lb pup wants to get out. My 90 lb Weimaraner & 70 lb Shepard mix don’t push it over but I know they could if they wanted to. I find it a good barrier & am glad I got it.

would the metal hinges scratch a wood floor?
- No scratches because the metal on the Perfect Fit Pet Gate does not touch the floor. At the bottom of the hinges, there is a plastic elbow with a small, soft rubber washer that sits on the floor.

How big are the open spaces on each side of the black poles between each panels? And how big are the open spaces in each panel? I want to make sure my dog can’t squeeze through.
- I'm not home to measure, but I have 2 small dogs and there is absolutely no way a dog can fit through this gate in between panels and black poles.

Can you connect two together to make a larger play pen type area?
- I'm not sure it has been done before but it should work. The opposite ends of the Perfect Fit Pet Gate would just attach to the other gate. Send pics to us at Cardinal Gates if you set it up.
