A need an outdoor gate for a 40.5 opening.I know this can extend to 42.5 but I also know that those extensions are fixed which means they might not be able to fit into specific spaces.Can the gate extensions that come w/this gate make it fit a 40.5"space?
- Hi, probably best to contact the manufacturer, Duragate directly. We haven't called them recently but in the past they have been able to answer our questions.

Can I make this gate fit a 60 inch opening with the extensions?
- I don't think you'll be able to make that work. It's a good gate but it's probably not sturdy enough to work at that width.

Will this fit a 47 inch opening
- The Outdoor Safety Gate expands to a maximum width of 42 1/2". In order to reach a 47" opening, you will need to purchase a BX1 Extension with stainless steel hardware along with the Outdoor Safety Gate.

What type of latch system is on this gate? Do you have to lift the gate to open & close it? Is it a self-closing latch, or must you move the latch or "lock it" ??
- With the Outdoor Safety Gate, you will have to lift up the door to open and close it. It will still open for high traffic areas. However, you will need to shut this gate yourself.

Is this wide enough for a 36 1/2 " opening? How tall is it?
- The Outdoor Safety Gate is able to expand to a width of 42 1/2". A 36 1/2" width will be no problem for this gate. The height of this gate is 29 1/2".

I have a 7ft 5 in opening on my deck by the steps. Do you have gates that would fit my opening

What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy it says for the bigger dog and every time she considers going through right after Sarah it smacks her in the face. It is light enough for her to push it open if she decides to they both had the same training when we first got it but she refuses
What harness is the best and most comfortable for my dog. It would also have to work with a tie out stake. The one i have she just pulls right out of it. I think it might be a little big but the next size down is to small. It is the vest kind. Maybe thats the problem. Could you help me please. I would appreciate it. Thanks so much.

My two six month old pups are labs they have recently learned to jump our fence, (4ft), and since have become to escape every chance they get. I thought punishing them by putting them in kennel when they return home, no treats, securing they on leash while outside, and staying outside until they completed their business and bringing them back into kennels. So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
