It’s attractive, but too heavy to move around and not practical.

I recently purchased this gate to contain a feral 1 lb 1 oz kitten in his safe space. Other gates had spacing that was too wide or crossbars he could climb. There weren’t many reviews when a purchased this but the ones I could find were positive. When this item arrived the box was in perfect condition but the gate was not. Three of the hinges weren’t even attached so I had to spend 30 minutes reassembling my “fully assembled” gate. The colored layer was also chipped off in multiple places. I am giving it two stars as it does stay upright on carpet and the kitten has been unable to climb it. Unfortunately due to the small size of the hinges I anticipate this product will not last long.

Sturdy bamboo wood laminate and metal hinges. It looks nice and doesn't tip over when my cat jumps on it. I know cats can easily jump over it, but it does serve as a barrier to slow them down and reduce chance of running out front door into the street of my row house. Folds up flat easily for storage.
