A free-standing barrier to keep small dogs or non-jumpers from going places you don't want them to go. No holes in the wall are needed with this gate. All metal construction is impossible to chew up and heavy enough (9 Lbs.) so it can't be pushed out of the way. This gate will last many years and look great in any home. Height is 20" and the gate can be extended from a minimum of 24" up to 41" which accommodates most doorways. Great for containing small and toy size pets with only 2" of space between the bars. Two fixed feet, 14.25" long, attach to support and give stability.

We're considering a dog for adoption; likely basset-beagle mix (foster maybe some terrier). We have three staircases in our 4-floor townhouse. Concerned that stairs would be bad for his back if he shares that problem with Basset hounds. So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
