Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Yes, puppies can have a small amount of yogurt. I think frozen yogurt pops for this would a great idea. Make sure that the yogurt does not contain the sugar substitute xylitol as that is toxic to dogs. Good luck and have a good day!

A few general recommendations: stick with well known brands with a good reputation. Look for products made in the USA. Kibble works great for treats and I use Purina Pro Plan chicken or lamb and rice. Dry biscuit type treats usually have less calories and salt. The jerky or moist type treats are fine in moderation (they have more calories and salt usually). Lastly, many dogs really like dehydrated chicken livers and chicken jerky. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

As long as the yogurt is not low-sugar or sugar free (containing artificial sugars as those are toxic to dogs,) it should be fine to give a small amount as a treat. However, if you are using it as a probiotic supplement, plain, unflavored yogurt is best long-term.

If you feed too much, you risk upsetting the nutritional balance of his regular food and/or causing excessive weight gain. Good foods 1.Peanut butter: 2.Yogurt: High in protein and calcium, plain yogurt is an ideal treat for dogs, especially if your pooch suffers from digestion problems. Make sure you opt for yogurts that don't contain added sugar or artificial sweeteners. 3.Oatmeal: Oatmeal is a good source of fiber, making it great for dogs with bowel irregularity issues, and it's also safe for dogs with wheat allergies. Before serving it to your pet, cook the oatmeal and don't add any sugar. 4.Chicken: If your dog requires extra protein in his diet, cooked, unseasoned chicken is an easy addition to his regular food. 5.Salmon: Dogs can benefit from omega 3 fatty acids too, so slip some cooke
