Hello, Is this joint supplement good for my cat, sweetie to try with a little salomn oil? The Chondroitin in it is made of shark cartilage. I sadly can not use cosequin on her because sweetie is sensitive to chrondroitin made of porcine or beef cartilage which is why I am considering this one. My dog is losing all his hair and he has red patches on his chest. He also has some swelling around his bottom and under his arm pits. I've been giving him Holistapet CBD oil (oral), Vet Organics EcoSpot Hot Spot Dog & Cat Spray, and I bathe him every 4 to 5 days (if he smells). I'm going on a month of this and I am not sure if it's allergies or something else. He doesn't dig/scratch himself anymore. I feel like a bad pet owner. :o(

My dog was recently groomed, and without realizing I let her play outside for a little too long. Her back paws kind of got a little irritated because her hair had just been cut down. She has been licking them on and off constantly since then. A vet on here suggested to use Vaseline but I didn’t want to risk her ingesting it. Instead I opted for ResQ Organics Skin Treatment with Manuka Honey. Is this a safer option?

Does any vet here support a raw diet, i.e. Darwin or Rad Cat? It seems all vets I have talked to recommend pet food from the major manufactures who are unregulated or regulated by AAFCO who actually caters to the big pet manufacturers. Doesn't dry pet food keep the animal in a constant state of dehydration and for the most part contains several chemicals which might harm the animal? By products might have nutrition value but making pet food out of carcasses doesn't seem a good idea or healthy.

A veterinarian visited my pet and prescribed Thyroid tables 75mcg for my pet. After giving tablets i can notice that pet is panting a lot, drinks more water and reduced food intake. Are these common for pets taking thyroid tablets?
