      All Wellness dry dog and cat foods are made in the company-owned manufacturing facility in Indiana. Some canned recipes are made by co-manufacturing partners that are held to rigorous quality and safety standards.

      Wellpet, a natural pet food company founded more than 100 years ago, first launched a line of Wellness dry dog food in 1997. Only a few years later, the Wellness brand had expanded to include dry cat food, canned dog and cat food, accessories and supplements.

      Wellness foods are produced at the company’s parent-owned production plant in Mishawaka, Ind., and Farm Fresh Kitchen plant in South St. Paul, Minn., as well as the facilities of several co-manufacturing partners.

      Wellness offers several pet food recipes in both grain-free and wholesome-grain options to meet the needs of dogs and cats with grain allergies or sensitivity, as well as those who thrive on a diet that includes wholesome grains.
