I’m awaiting the adoption of a toy poodle puppy who is about 10 weeks old. What brands or formulas of dry and wet food would you recommend? And are there any supplements that I should consider purchasing?

Are there risks associated with menadione (vitamin k3) for long term consumption in dogs? I am wondering why ProPlan includes it in their formulas, when it seems from my own research that dogs produce enough naturally in their gut to not need a supplement in the first place.

My senior american bulldog is struggling. He has several heath issues that he takes meds and supplements. Here is what he takes carprofen potassium bromide lthyroxin vetsmart formula cbd oil tramadol phenobarbital nvh immuno. He has several fatty lipomas. And they keep appearing. I had 2 large ones removed in june. Am i doing the right thing for him. Or should he be put to sleep? He's a happy boy. Some days are worse than others. Please help

I recently found out about the link to heart disease DCM from some grain free limited ingredient dog foods. We have been feeding our dog one of these foods as he has several allergies (including grains, peanuts and chicken). It seems like they believe the link is to high use of peas, potatoes, and legumes in these foods. My vet suggested I look to skin sensitive formulas but these all seem to have high levels of peas and potatoes. What food can I feed my dog without issues?

I have a 3yo Malinois that constantly scratches, chews his feet and shakes his head. We have literally tried everything with the vet guidance. He is on Apoquel now. Blood test just came back positive for dust/storage mites, cats, feathers and flax. My question is: in my search for a dog food without flaxseed, I notice the brands have treats, can or other formulas with flax in them: couldn’t this potentially contaminate the bags that are “flax free”? I have an 8 yr old obese lab that is having a bit of trouble getting up after lying down & is gimpy for a bit afterward. I know the stiffness has a bit to do w/ his weight (125 lbs). But he also has TERRIBLE skin allergies that make him itch HORRIBLY! I believe he also has food allergies too... What large breed food/supplements (brand suggestions & formulas pls!) should I be giving him to help him lose weight, help his SEVERE skin & food allergies & his joint problems as he ages even further?

I'm a but confused how to calculate my cats ideal calorie intake per day to get him to loose a few pounds . I would like to get him to 19 or 20 pounds and he is now about 22.5 pounds. I used formula 30 (target weight in kg) + 70, but I see there are other formulas? He is 4 years 5 months old and neutered. He eats hills science perfect weight dry food and he likes fancy feast 3 Oz can food. He is inside 60% of time and outside in and out during day light rest of time. Thank you

Dental oral care...which products to use? Was suggested OralVet, as its the one which digests in the dogs stomach is swallowed in big chunks. but not readily available in most stores. Is there a comparable product readily available, safe and easily digested?

Product recommendation pls: naturvet Omega gold plus salmon oil chews vs VetriScience derma strength every day health chews; pls see attached pics. Looking for Omega 3 supplement (chews). Nikki eats core wellness grain free ocean flavor. Being using VetriScience, her itchiness from unknown allergy hasn't improved. On the other hand, I would like to know where/how I can get cytopoint, asked my vet but they don't have it. Thanks !
