While I can't speak to ursodiol's side effect profile in people, I can tell you that ursodiol does not cause diabetes or exacerbate existing diabetes in dogs. Continue working closely with Mindy's vet to regulate her diabetes and liver dysfunction. I don't see any contraindications or interactions between insulin, ursodiol, and Denamarin. You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.

Hello. There is always a possibility of reoccurrence since the organism can encyst in muscle tissue. This means the disease is never truly eliminated. Spaying her & trying to avoid any immunosuppressant medications like steroids will probably keep Hetty clinically normal for the rest of her life. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Hello. For the most part, veterinary drugs are equivalent to the human version of the same drug & visa versa. If your vet has no objections, he should readily write you a prescription so you can purchase the medication at any pharmacy you wish to use. My dog has a history of urinary infections so is permanently on a diet of Hills UD wet food but I've run out and the tins are out of stock everywhere?
It looks like it is still available through Petsmart and Petco website for an online order, or you can wait until your vet opens on tomorrow to get it there if they keep it in stock. Typically your vet can get it ordered pretty quickly for their patients. Jaydee should be fine if it takes a week or two to get his Rx food. Visit your local pet store and get Hill's Science diet senior food (small bag) for now to hold him over.
