Yes, the hose water should be fine but if you want to clean them again, use the hose water and soap. You can get a brush from the grocery store to scrub the bottom of your shoes to be safe. As long as you have thoroughly cleaned your shoes, it should be fine.

Unfortunately, the images attaches are not clear enough to allow for identification. It could be any one of several broad leafed species. The cloth should be removed before planting. In general, most plants are low maintenance but you do need a proper light other than the traditional light used in fish tanks. If you can provide better pictures in a new post, we may be able to identify it for you. You can also go back to the location where it was purchased and ask store personnel.

Great question! I would wait until after they have a negative fungal culture to have the vents professionally cleaned as well as the carpet, but there are things you can do now. You can vacuum the home yourself, clean all surfaces, and put things outside on a sunny day as well as opening curtains. I will put a link below on how to do those things. Given that the bag of miracle grow soil was unopened, then it is highly unlikely any got on the floor. Cleaning the floor and vacuuming would be extra protection, so you do not need to worry about your cat :-)

I would make sure that your cats and your puppy are both up to date on their deworming treatments. If they aren't, you will need to get treatments for them from the vet. As for cleaning the house, I would shampoo the carpets, and scrub any hardwood floors.
