Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Takoda! I would try to shave all the fur away from the area and check closely for other wounds. Then clean the skin with water and a mild soap. Avoid hydrogen peroxide as it can damage the skin. Then apply a triple antibiotic ointment twice daily. If there is a large full thickness gash or puncture it is best to have Takoda seen by a Vet to see if surgery is warranted or oral antibiotics. I hope this helps and I wish Takoda the best!

I suggest you get this wound spray to apply 3-4 times a to it. If he is licking it you will need to put a cone collar on him until it is mostly healed. If he licks it, it will either not heal or it will take a very long time to heal. These all look like superficial grazes in the pictures provided and I would keep them clean with saline or dilute iodine disinfectant. Monitor closely for any heat, pain or swelling around any of the wounds which would indicate infection requiring antibiotics from your vet. I recommend you keep them separated to prevent further injury in the future

It looks like the wart just got inflamed or traumatized. I would not worry about it. Cleaning it and applying Neosporin is perfect! Great job! I would keep it clean and keep applying the Neosporin until healed. Just DON'T use peroxide on it as that will inhibit healing. Hope this helps! Best wishes!
