Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt

Hello! my tropic tetra fish, límon, has a cut out down the middle that I have not noticed before and her tail has a small cut too. she lives in a 10 gallon community tank with 3 more tropic tetras. none of her tank mates are aggressive. Does she have fin rot or some other disease? she gets regular water changes and has been acting completely normal. please send help!

I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.

I recently got my goldfish (very small) and I put him in a 5 gallon tank (new tank with conditioned water and filter). He swims around very fast and up and down the tank walls. When I feed him flakes, he chews really quickly and then spits it out. I can’t tell if he actually eats anything. The ammonia levels are a little high (3.0) so I put in some ammonia fixer. All the other tests seem normal. Is there anything else I can do?

I recently got a tropical fish tank off of craigslist. There's two black skirt tetras, one white tetra (might also be a skirt), and one guppy. All 4 recently had ick. The three tetra get along well but the guppy is making me worried. He was at the bottom of the tank when we got him but he still swims around to eat. Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.

I have an African Clawed Frog who has been shedding her skin in tatters, has no appetite and can't keep down food. She is also very lethargic and I noticed this behavior on Tuesday. I know it has to do with poor water quality, since the new plants in the tank decayed very quickly and most likely bumped up the nitrates in the water. Right now I have her in quarantine with 1/2 tablespoon of aquarium salt in 1 gallon of water. The only medicine I have is tetracycline. Should I use it?
