You can buy those products at Petco for Beaux. I would advise to only purchase Frontline or Advantix. I would not get anything cheaper than that. Be aware that these are still your best over the counter products but fleas are developing immunity to them. In general, the oral products like Simparica and Bravecto are the best. Please post if you have any additional questions.

Hi there. I'm afraid the only thing you can get over the counter for a bacterial infection would be a topical spray such as Vetericyn or Nutri-Vet - these products can sometimes be effective for something like a minor, localized skin infection. For anything more serious, you'll need to get prescription antibiotics from your veterinarian. Vetco clinics only do wellness care (vaccines, fecal exams, etc.), not visits for any type of medical problem - so if you think that Gunner has an infection, I would recommend making an appointment with a regular full-service veterinary office in your area for an exam and treatment.

If there is a secondary bacterial infection, I would recommend using product called Duoxo Chlorhexidine + Calm shampoo and bathe twice weekly until resolved. I would also recommend picking up a hydrocortisone spray (Well and Good at Petco) and apply daily to the affected area to relieve inflammation. If it does not resolve or worsens, I would have a veterinarian take a look at Harley so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps!

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. I would recommend using a mixture of betadine and saline or water so that you have a light brown solution and use this to clean the area. I would then apply a wound cream such as Sentry Wound Ointment, which you can find online or at PetCo. Monitor for worsening and if the area becomes swollen or begins to show signs of discharge, I would have Luna examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further. Please take the time to mark this question as helpful or not as it helps us to improve on the quality of our answers to other pet owners. Thank you kindly!

Petco carries a variety of flea and tick medication over the counter. You can only get a prescription product from a veterinarian if they have examined Bruno. Petco does offer vaccine clinics but you would need to check with the specific services individually. Here is a link: https://www.vetcoclinics.com/ I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
