Hi and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Temptations and Greenies are not very digestible which is why they can cause stomach upset. Commericial treats such as these can be highly processed, contain a variety of aritcial ingredients and flavors and contain high fat and low fiber content with fillers in them which can cause GI upset. A good alternative would be Smittens cat treats by Honest Kitchen which are all natural. I hope this helps!

While Halloween may be fun for us, it can be stressful for pets. Before the trick-or-treaters start ringing the doorbell, be sure that your pet is safely confined in a crate or room so that they don’t escape amidst the chaos. Keep any candy or treats out of reach of pets. Chocolate is toxic to pets, and many other treats or candies can lead to gastrointestinal upset or pancreatitis. If your pet becomes excessively anxious when the doorbell rings repeatedly, discuss solutions with your veterinarian.
Hunny Cat is so beautiful! If you are adopting her from a shelter, she should have a check up with the vet before being given to her new home. Ask them if she has seen a vet, and if she has, then you don't need to take her into a vet now for a check up. I would only do it if she hasn't seen a vet recently. In terms of food, for the supermarket brands, I feel Purina One is the best. Other brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. For treats, I like Temptations. My cats love their treats, and come running whenever I shake the bag. I hope this helps!
It's great that you want to work on some training with Boomer! Most cats really enjoy this - and despite what people often say, they're very trainable if you're patient and have tasty rewards :) There are lots of good options available for training treats. Personally, I like Temptations, Blue Wilderness, and Zukes brand soft treats for training. You can also use tiny dollops of canned food as a training reward, if he prefers this.
Signs of toxicity in cats can include vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, lethargy, staggering or confusion, refusal to eat or drink, dilated pupils, etc. If you are seeing these signs and suspect she ate a toxic amount of the fake snow, it would be best to seek veterinary care immediately. If you are unsure if your particular product is toxic or not, you can contact Animal Poison Control (there is a fee for this service) to see if they can provide you with more information: https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control
