Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. If you are looking for ways to enrich your cat, you can purchase things like a cat tree for it to climb on, or toys for it to play with. Cats tend to enjoy Temptations cat treats, though they are high calorie and should only be given in moderation. I hope this is helpful!

Well, as long as he is eating his dried food fine, you can either stop the treats completely, he will forget about them eventually and you can then try him again on different treats. Alternatively you can give him 2-3 temptations a day, this isn't going to cause him any harm as long as it's in small quantities.

Hello. I do not know what might be available in Canada, but I highly recommend looking at this website for the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. https://www.vohc.org

He looks beautiful. Most cats love crumpled paper balls! But you can try the fuzzy mice that are available from a pet store or get one of the angling toys (a stick with an attached string and a fetherball at the end). You can also make a feather toy for him by gathering a lot of feathers, tying them together and throwing it. Anotehr great toy is a ball into which you can put dry food. The ball has a few holes and as he plays with it the food falls out. once he figures out how it works, it is a great toy. (But my cats still like the small crumpled paper balls best.....)

Cats certainly do love treats, but I wouldn't say they can become addicted to them. They can prefer them over their normal food, and giving them too many isn't good for Jimmy's health. It can lead to him being overweight, which in turn can lead to joint problems, diabetes, and cardiac disease. You can simply stop offering them to Jimmy, you don't need to detox him from it. He shouldn't have treats more than once a week. I hope this helps!
