Hello. Petco carries a number of products that might help. Zymox makes a spray & a salve that contains hydrocortisone, that can really help with the itching. On-line, you can find many more products such as shampoos & conditioners that also contain hydrocortisone. Topicals only work for short periods of time. Longer relief can be obtained with immunostimulants such as Apoquel & Cytopoint, both available from your veterinarian. Your pet may also have additional issues such as skin mites, fleas, bacterial & yeast infections in the skin, & your veterinarian can certainly help to sort some of these issues out. If the over the counter products do not seem to be controlling her symptoms, then please consider checking Chancla out with your veterinarian. Thanks for contacting Boop by Petco.

Could you please recommend some good dog dental products?
Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! Here is a list of the products I typically recommend: 1. CET oral rinse 2. CET enzymatic toothpaste 3. Oravet chews 4. Plaque off 5. CET chlorhexidine chews Not all of these will work but I have had some mixed success using all of these. My favorite is the Oravet chew as it employs an additive known as Delmopinol to prevent tartar formation. Oravet chews are only available in veterinary clinics so you may have a hard time finding this one online. All of the other products you can find online. I hope this helps! As far as her teeth go, it is always recommended to have a full dental cleaning under anesthesia to resolve any underlying problems and pain, then follow up with something like a water additive to decrease additional dental calculus from forming. My favorite dental product is PetSmile, but it does need to be applied to the teeth. https://petsmileusa.com There has been a lot of evidence that increasing the amount of Omega 3 fatty acids in the diet can make a big difference for inflammation and itching. Since a diet change and adding Omega 3 fatty acids to the diet can both cause loose stool, I normally only recommend that clients make one change to a diet at a time (which includes supplements).
