I live in Chicago where it gets really cold in the winter. My puppy is small to medium size. Should I consider in getting her dog booties and coat/ jacket for the winter? Or would she be fine in the winter?
For short walks, a few minutes, she can probably go out as is. If you plan on spending more than 5-10 minutes outside or if Maggie takes a long time to do her business, then you may want to consider booties and a coat. What are some affordable high quality dog boots you would recommend for good foot protection? Im trying to find foot protection that won't annoy my dog. Thanks
Ruffwear is generally considered one of the best apparel companies for pets. Otherwise it is all highly variable. I recommend to look at product recommendations online. Any boot is liable to cause annoyance to a pet since they are not use to wearing them. Petsmart and Petco both tend to carry products that work well and are durable. Happy new year! We live in Minnesota and our average temp is cold but recently we are 20 degrees below normal. Highs of -4 to -15 below with wind chills much lower. My question how long can our puppy be safely outside? Only 10 mins for frostbite
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. At temperatures like this, I would be concerned with having Teddy out for more than 5 minutes. I would recommend using the boots for his feet that you can find online or at a local pet store and dressing him in a doggy sweater as this will help reduce chance of hypothermia / damage to the skin from the cold. Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less tha
I would get them doggie sweaters! This will help keep them warm both inside and outside the house. They can wear the sweaters indoors, and you can also get thick doggie coats for them to wear outside. Pet stores will carry these, and some of the stuff they have is really cute. I'd buy those for your dogs. I hope this helps!

Our old harness is broken. I was wondering if you have any product recommendations or at least any ideas for a new harness? I've found some cute and comfortable one in a store in Germany but I don't know when I will be visiting Germany again.
How lucky of you to visit Germany recently! I would check to see if it's possible to ship the ones you like from Germany to Bosnia & Herzegovina. I'm not very familiar with the inventory of dog harnesses in your country, and given that many things can easily be shipped, it might be the best idea to have the cute and comfortable ones you say in Germany shipped to your home :-)
