Veterinarians should carry therapeutic diets with extra fiber- Hills makes W/D and Royal Canin makes Fiber Response. If you just want an over the counter food, like for a senior or mature formula, they tend to have a higher fiber content. Kisses to George!

I understand that it can be quite confusing to know what is good food versus bad food with all the conflicting information out there, but you definitely don't need to break the bank to feed good food. Also, there is A LOT misleading and outright false information amongst various people in the community, which may make you feel like you're feeding an inadequate or dangerous food. Purina One is a good food that I have fed to pets in the past. I have no problem with it and would only suggest that you ensure the food is labeled for Greyson's life stage. Below is a link that explains how to check the product for this information. There is no one food that I think is superior to any other and the reality is that they are all quite similar and provide adequate nutrients. https://www.petcoach.co/article/what-to-look-for-when-choosing-your-pet-s-food I hope that helps. If I missed something, please feel free to post the question again.

You can feed her any good quality wet food, preferably pate style, and add some canned pumpkin. Or search for "High Fiber Canned Cat Food" in your browser. The ROYAL CANIN Feline Gastrointestinal HE canned cat food is one, for example.

In my clinical experience high fibre food is most effective in managing chronic constipation in cats. You will find many brands of high-fiber food for cats on the market. You could try Royal Canine Gastrointestinal Fibre Response, Iams Proactive Health or Hill's Indoor With High Fiber. You would have to wait about 4-8 weeks on high-fiber food to see improvement. Good luck.
