Ensure the puppy has been fully health checked, microchipped and vaccinated and contact the vet involved to confirm they know the puppy - I see you have her down as 6weeks old and spayed/neutered - this is very early and you should question the breeder as to if and why this has been done. You should arrange a puppy safe area of the house (indoor crate or partitioned off area) with no low hanging wires or cords they can chew or become tangled in, have plenty of spare, war, soft bedding and at least 2 food/water bowls, puppy training pads (if using) and an appropriate sized leach and collar to start training around the house. Have some appropriate sized chews and rope toys (avoid human items such as old shoes etc as this can encourage unwanted chewing of important pairs!). Ensure a dog sitter/walker or daycare is available if you will be away for longer than 4-6hours and arrange a vet check within the first 3days to ensure all is well! Good luck

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Dogs do not have the enzymes to break down dairy products like humans do. While the puppichino isn't toxic (as long as it is coffee and chocolate free), it could cause some diarrhea. You could try a small amount and see if she gets diarrhea and if so, stop giving it. Really she doesn't need the treat but if it makes you feel good, once a week is ok! Kisses to Chloe!

Congratulations on your new puppy! At first, I would recommend feeding Lola what she has already been eating at the breeder. Changes in diet have to be done gradually to avoid GI upset, so typically continuing to feed the food they were already on helps to make the transition to the new home easier. In terms of treats, she will be very small, so training treats (small bite sized pieces) would be a great option. Toys are variable depending on which type she enjoys. I would get a couple options and see which type she prefers; just remember not to leave her unsupervised with any toys that have a squeaker, as she may be able to chew it open and eat the squeaker! At first, she won't need to have her teeth brushed, as her adult teeth won't have come in yet (she will still have baby teeth). Getting her used to having your fingers in her mouth and manipulating under her gums will help prepare her for tooth brushing when she is a little older. Congratulations and enjoy!
