My cat is pregnant and I want to know if it’s still safe to give her pumpkin seeds and baths. She has been throwing up in the morning and I heard pumpkin seeds can help with digestion. Are both safe for expecting cats?
How can I keep Patch and Buddy cool in this hot weather?? Lately it’s been up to 30 degrees
When I go to pick Patch up he makes this grunting noise, does this mean he doesn't want to be picked up??
Dog eats own poop. Tried to add small amount of canned pumpkin to dog food, now dog is eating grass and throwing up.
We have a 4yo greyhound x kelpie x whippet boy. We worked it out about midday yesterday he must have got into some rubbish as this morning he vomited up pieces of an aluminium tray. We gave him 2 paces of bread and some pumpkin. Approx an hour later he vomited up a little more tray pieces. He has since done a solid stool (no tray but pumpkin) and had 3 more pieces of bread and more pumpkin with no vomiting. He is his normal self too. Is it ok to see the vet tomorrow?
My Shih Tzu was having hard stools. Vet recommended pumpkin purée of 1 Teaspoon a day. It made his stool normal. But this morning he woke up and has loose stool, like diarrhea. I will stop the pumpkin. What can I do for him to stop the diarrhea or get him back to normal? He’s playful and seems happy. Thank you
My dog had a patch on the tail where fur loss and thick crumbly crust has formed ... It comes off in chunks like cracker crumbs. There was also what looked like a bloody built up old scab that was black and slightly coned shape u. The middle I the fur patch that fell off- any ideas?
Weird patch on Dog. My pet has a patch of missing hair and scabbing. I have no clue what it is.
Hello, My 8 month old fawn/champagne Staffordshire Bull Terrier Floyd has a terrible bald patch up his back right limb reaching up to his rib cage. The skin isn't sore to touch and doesn't have any cuts or puss. Floyd does frequently bite at this leg but nowhere else, we are concerned he may have Alopecia X as the skin has turned a black colour. When he was 3 months old he had a small bald patch on his head which has now cleared up. We have also regularly wormed and flead him too. Please help
My jagd terrier, 5 months old, has a concerning skin irritation. It started as a patch of dry skin, kind of like a patch of sap was harder on his skin, but there was no sap. A few days later it became harder and the edges started to peel up and puss a bit. His entire layer of fur/skin is wanting to flake off in that area, the size of a quarter. It is circular, oval shaped.
My pit has this dry itchy patch behind one of her ears and a cut on the same ear she keeps craching it and opening the cut up what can I get or do to stop it
Thank you to answered to question about the greens and pumpkin. I just warned to clarify that with the pureed greens, the fruit are also mixed in. So would you give the pumpkin in the morning and then the fruit and veggies (which are pureed together) at night? or would you give the pumpkin and fruits and veggies all in the morning? Or I could also give one tablespoon of the produce in the AM. and one in the PM. along with the AM. pumpkin. What would make the most sense to you? Thanks!
