Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! In the US we do not charge to write prescriptions (as far as I know). The laws in the UK must be different. Robenacoxib are prescription so there is no way to get the drug with out your Vet approving the prescription, My suggestion is to ask for a larger supply, 3 months or more with refills. That way you do not have to pay the prescription fee that often. I hope this helps and have a great day!

I'm so sorry Bubba is doing so poorly! Unfortunately, by law it is illegal for the experts at Boop by Petco to say it's safe to give an extra dose of medication without seeing the animal in person first. That's because doing so requires a veterinary client patient relationship which cannot be achieved via an internet forum. If he's in a lot of pain, I would give his vet a call now to discuss if they feel it's safe to give him some extra Previcox. Best of luck.

You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I’m sorry to hear Chloe is suffering from arthritis. Medically, in addition to an anti-Inflammatory like previcox there are additional pain medications she could be started on. Adjunctively to medications, laser treatments, hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill), and acupuncture are all options you could look into to help her as well. Good luck!

Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco. Great question! No, I would not be worried about this scenario. Typically we don't like to give two different NSAIDs very close together but that is mostly when a dog has been on one long-term and we want to switch to another. Has only having one dose of previcox a few days is not really concerning. The main reason we worry is the potential for gastric ulceration. If you want to be cautious you could give him some omeprazole for a week but it would be best to contact your vet before adding in any other medications. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
