An enzymatic cleaner such as Nature's Miracle is the best for removing urine. It works by breaking down the actual urine particles to help remove smell and reduce staining. You can then use another cleaner as needed. Be sure to test any spots first with the enzymatic cleaner to make sure it doesn't harm what you are cleaning. Clothing and other loose fabrics can also be washed.

Hello, and thank you for using Boop by Petco. Most cats should groom themselves clean, but some cats can struggle to do so, especially if they are overweight (and may have trouble reaching their hind end), if they have very long hair, or if they're struggling with diarrhea. If Snow has very long hair, you could ask the vet or a groomer to clip her hind end a little bit so it's easier to keep clean. You can then keep baby wipes around and wipe her hind end whenever you notice she needs help staying clean. Keep an eye on her litterbox, and if her stools seem softer than usual then it's worth having a vet take a look at her to make sure she doesn't have a medical issue that needs to be addressed.

Try a pheromone product such as Feliway spray or plug in diffuser. Either may decrease any anxiety or stress in the home. You can also try placing his food and water bowls on the spot. Clean the soiled area thoroughly first using an enzymatic cleaner such as Nature's Miracle. Add an extra litterbox in the house and try different brands and depths of kitty litter in addition to the litterbox attractants.
