I need to add cotton to the pillow mat for my dog bed because it’s going flat, can I use any kind of cotton or should I be careful picking one out? She doesn’t chew her beds at all, it’s just going flat. Where can I get cotton for her bed?
Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco.\ You can use any type of filler you would like however, most of what you will find is polyester types. Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about Buddy. This is a million dollar question. I have experienced it with my dogs and I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Some dogs are just very destructive when it comes to toys, beds, and other items in the house. Maybe it's just boredom, lack of environmental enrichment, etc. I would advise more walks, more exercise, etc to see if the behavior continues. Good luck

Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/harmony-hooded-cave-cat-bed-in-grey) that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. Most smaller dogs (especially dachshunds) tend to like this [cave type bed](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/snoozer-luxury-micro-suede-cozy-cave-pet-bed-in-anthracite).

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Bad Sam! Can you leash him to the foot of your bed so he can't wander off to other things? If that doesn't work or isn't possible I think it is fine and not cruel to crate him at night. He should be sleeping anyway and it will also keep HIM and your stuff safe. Good luck!
