My cat was prescribed Meropitant 24mg for nausea due to nausea/vomiting from Clavamox. I accidentally gave him the full 24mg pill instead of 12mg. Should I take him to be seen at an ER vet? He is acting normal and eating.
Finn will be ok, you don't to take him into the vet. Studies have shown that it was well tolerated by cats at even 10 times the recommended dose, and adverse side effects were not seen. I hope this helps!

Hi , I can use dimenhydrinate for my cats , one cat have 12 kg e another one 10kg ?! what dosage i would use?
Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) can be used in cats, but there may be better options. Legally, we are prohibited from providing a dose for medications, even OTC ones, in the absence of a physical exam and a VPCR ( veterinarian-patient-client relationship). The best anti-nausea medications are prescription, and I always prefer to use injectible anti-nausea medications because they work faster and better. My cat kathy had a nasal lavage on Monday. She now shows extreme signs of vestibular symptoms. vet has her on steroids and cerenia. she is not eating at all. i have been taking her in for fluids. can i continue to give her steroids, cerenia, mirtazap
I'm so sorry to hear that Kathy is having this problem. Unfortunately we can see vestibular signs after ear flushing. Dramamine and Cerenia both help nausea, but they work differently, so if your vet has prescribed both medications, then I would continue them both.
